Personally, I find Backpack Battles to have a unique gameplay style that few other games possess. The game takes us to a fantasy world, but in a different style, a world that requires strategic thinking to survive. Here, you can choose a character from various classes and quickly embark on your exciting journey. Your strength comes not only from your class but primarily from the magical equipment you possess.
In Backpack Battles, the gear in your backpack is what determines everything. With hundreds of different types of equipment, you can build your own arsenal and jump into battle immediately. This game doesn’t have a specific setting; it’s simply a fantasy world filled with exciting battles. Head to the shop, buy the equipment you deem necessary, arrange it strategically, and defeat the enemies in your way!
The character classes you can choose from in Backpack Battles
Backpack Battles takes us to a fantasy world, so there are quite a few character classes to choose from. Each character is designed in a classic comic style, reflecting the unique characteristics of their respective classes. Even more notably, they are all female characters, and you can fully customize their appearance. Below is information on the character classes featured in the game:
- Ranger: This archer is a beautiful female beast-human with Lucky Clover as her starting equipment.
- Pyromancer: A fire mage with two large Flame orbs.
- Mage: A witch who uses power derived from spellbooks.
- Reaper: A beautiful, mysterious woman in a purple outfit carrying a heavy coffin.
- Berserker: A powerful female warrior with a wolf symbol. Is she a monster hunter?
- Adventurer: A relatively easy-to-play character class with a cute appearance.
Learn about the equipment in Backpack Battles
When you play Backpack Battles, you’ll be overwhelmed by the sheer number of items available. Currently, the game boasts 439 items, and this number is likely to increase in the future. These items are categorized into various types with different rarity levels and functions. You can view and learn more about all of them in the game’s Items section.
Backpack Battles categorizes equipment into many different types, and you can filter them by function, effect, character class, rarity, etc. However, for simplicity, I’ll divide them into:
- Bag Equipment: Often used to expand your inventory, such as Leather Bags, Fanny Packs, Holdalls, etc.
- Weapons: The game boasts a wide variety of weapons, which can be further enhanced by combining certain components. For example, a Wooden Sword + Whetstone creates an Epic Hero Sword.
- Defensive Equipment: These typically include armor, gloves, helmets, etc. Remember that while these items may look similar, each class possesses different strengths.
- Food: Fruits can enhance character effects or create special skills.
- Minerals: These often have various uses depending on their placement. When embedded in weapons, they increase damage; in armor, they increase defense; and in the inventory, they create random effects.
- Pets: Pets can also be considered a special type of weapon, dealing damage over time, and some rare pets create powerful effects.
Change the character’s appearanc
As mentioned above, Backpack Battles not only allows you to customize your character’s equipment in combat but also to change their outfit and appearance. With the Wardrobe feature, you can customize your character’s appearance, including hats, weapons, clothing, shoes, and backpacks. However, in the early stages of the game, these items are usually locked and only unlocked when you reach a certain number of cups. These cups are earned each time you defeat an opponent during your adventure.
Additionally, each character class has a different number of cosmetic items. For example, the Pyromancer has five outfits while the Adventurer only has two. Perhaps because the Pyromancer is more beautiful and attractive, they receive more preferential treatment. In short, if you want your chosen character to look more appealing and have the appearance you desire, try to earn as many trophies as possible.
