Introduce about Beasts Evolved 2
According to some information I’ve gathered, Beasts Evolved 2 was initially developed only for iOS, but an Android version was released shortly after. However, in its initial release, the game was only available in certain regions. Still maintaining the strategic RPG style combined with monster evolution, Beasts Evolved 2 is promised by the developers to be a completely new world with many surprises awaiting players.
Become an adventurer in Beasts Evolved 2
If you’ve played the first Beasts Evolved 2 game, you’re probably familiar with the world of Continent of Evoland. In this second installment, we explore this world again, but on a different continent. Here, monsters are affected by Evolution Energy, causing them to evolve into various forms. There isn’t much magic here; it’s simply biological evolution with a touch of pseudoscience.
As an adventurer, you possess the ability to tame beasts and work with them to complete the world’s reset. Here, unexpected, powerful, and somewhat mysterious beast evolutions await you. Could the evolution in Beasts Evolved 2 be the work of some mysterious force? Are we all just pawns, test subjects in this “world evolution”? Let’s find out!
Gameplay
Despite being presented as a completely new game, Beasts Evolved 2 retains the characteristics of the first installment. The game focuses on the core elements of collecting monsters, evolution, and combat. As an adventurer, you can collect monsters and build a small team, then battle to find materials for monster evolution. It’s a loop, but very engaging and addictive for those who crave power and are curious about evolution.
The most innovative aspect of Beasts Evolved 2 lies in the evolution of the monsters. In the first game, the monsters had a specific, linear evolution path, but in this second game, things are different. Specifically, you can merge two monster races to evolve a new monster. You can also combine monster parts and restructure them. Furthermore, the Final Awakened Form can unlock special abilities.
Explore the new continent
Beasts Evolved 2’s novelty also lies in its level system. Here, the vast continent is divided into many different areas, no longer linear like in the first game. Now you don’t have to follow only one path, there are many branches to choose from to explore. Note that each area usually has its own unique characteristics in terms of environment, monsters, and resources. Therefore, you should research these areas thoroughly before diving in.
How do you evolve your monsters in Beasts Evolved 2?
As mentioned above, evolution is the core of Beasts Evolved 2. The developers emphasized this three times in their introduction: “This game’s ONLY REAL STRENGTH IS EVOLUTION!!!” However, to evolve your beasts, you need to prepare quite a few things. Specifically:
- Your monsters need to reach a certain level. Each evolution has a predetermined level milestone.
- You need enough evolution materials – which you earn by exploring levels. Note that different monsters require different materials.
Once you have met the above conditions, you can begin the evolution process by:
- Fusion Evolution: Merging two races to create a new race. Examples include Fire + Beast and Flame Chimera, Dragon + Undead and Bone Drake.
- Morph System: Evolving by combining parts of exotic monsters.
- Final Awakened Form: This can only be manipulated when the monster reaches its maximum level, has enough rare materials, and has completed other evolution milestones. Monsters undergoing this evolution will possess unique skills, a significantly changed appearance, and completely new powers.
