What DNS Changer is not
DNS Changer is not a full VPN service. It does not route your
traffic through remote VPN servers and it does not change your
public IP address. It is designed to manage the DNS server used by
your device.
Technical note
DNS Changer uses Android’s VpnService API to create a local VPN
interface and change only the DNS server used by your device. You
generally cannot run another VPN app at the same time. Filtering
results depend on the DNS provider you choose. Logging features are
optional and designed for in?app analysis – no browsing history
required.
