Gameplay
Featuring a top-down third-person perspective, Phantom Tower offers intense and explosive hack-and-slash combat. First, choose one of three character classes that suits your style. Then, don’t hesitate to venture into the mysterious tower to find answers to all your questions. This is a rather exciting journey where you’ll not only face monsters but also some dangerous puzzles and traps.
Don’t forget to collect materials along the way to craft and upgrade your character’s equipment. There’s a small village called Emberfall right below the tower where you can prepare everything. The most interesting aspect of Phantom Tower is probably the tower climbing. Each floor has a random layout along with many hidden perks that provide powerful character buffs.
The mysterious tower
From what I’ve gathered, the tower in the game Phantom Tower has a relatively large number of floors. While the total number of floors isn’t officially confirmed, they can be tentatively divided by difficulty. Many players believe that floors 1 to 30 or 40, which are in the early stages of the game, are relatively easy to complete. From floor 50 onwards, things become significantly more challenging. This increasing difficulty fuels players’ desire to conquer the tower.
The characteristics of these layers typically include:
- The map isn’t very large, with many enclosed rooms.
- Not every room contains monsters.
- You can’t freely move to another room until you’ve defeated all the monsters or solved the puzzle.
