Do you use YouTube and have to watch up to 15 seconds of ads before each video you watch, and you can’t skip them? Can’t listen to videos when you temporarily exit the YouTube app? There are many great features, but you don’t have YouTube Premium to experience them? YouTube Morphe APK is the solution to overcome all the barriers affecting your YouTube video viewing experience.
Introduce about YouTube Morphe
YouTube Morphe blocks all ads while watching videos
This is the most important feature of YouTube Morphe. The YouTube Morphe app has a comprehensive ad-blocking feature. YouTube Morphe’s ad-blocking feature can filter out almost all ads that appear at any time on your video player. In addition, the developer releases updates for YouTube Morphe relatively frequently. Therefore, if you encounter errors caused by the ad-blocking feature while using the app, check and update the app to the latest version. Updating YouTube Morphe will completely resolve any errors when using the app.
Personalize ad blocking features
The YouTube Morphe development team also allows you to enable or disable different types of ads in the app’s settings. YouTube Morphe’s ad settings are very useful if you want to personalize ad blocking within the app. Some situations where you might need to customize ad enabling/disabling include:
- Troubleshooting during app use.
- Want to see ads for products promoted in videos.
- Want to support content creators.
- If you want to use YouTube Morphe as a regular YouTube app, you can also turn off all ad-blocking features.
Video loop and sleep timer features
Video looping and sleep timer are two features only available with YouTube Premium. However, with YouTube Morphe, you can use these two features for free. Importantly, YouTube Morphe allows you to directly activate these features using YouTube’s native tools. Simply access the settings bar (gear icon) in the upper right corner of the video player, then select “More options”. The settings, including these two extremely valuable features, will appear for you to activate as desired.
Background playback feature
With the regular YouTube app, you can only use the background playback feature if you have a YouTube Premium subscription. Without YouTube Premium, the video will stop playing as soon as you exit the app. Now, with YouTube Morphe, you can use this feature anytime. Importantly, YouTube Morphe automatically activates background playback after installation; you don’t need to manually enable any settings to use this feature.
The background playback feature integrated into YouTube Morphe is exactly the same as the regular YouTube app. When you exit the app, YouTube Morphe will also display a minimized player on your phone’s toolbar. You can pause, skip tracks, fast forward, or completely stop the video using the minimized player. Note that the minimized player only works if YouTube Morphe is running in the background. If you completely close YouTube Morphe using your phone’s multitasking management feature, the minimized player will also close with the app.
DeArrow feature
A thumbnail is an image that appears on a video before you watch it. Video creators sometimes exploit thumbnails to boost engagement by using images unrelated to the video. YouTube Morphe uses images provided by the community on the DeArrow web application, making video thumbnails more accurate and objective. This feature is especially useful for news or educational videos.
DeArrow is not automatically used in YouTube Morphe; you need to manually enable it in the Settings/Alternative Thumbnails section of the app. This setting has four options:
- Original thumbnail: Use the original thumbnail provided by the content creator (default).
- DeArrow & Original thumbnail: Use an image from DeArrow. If no DeArrow image is available, use the original image.
- DeArrow & Still image: Use an image from DeArrow. If no DeArrow image is available, capture an image from the middle of the video and use it as the thumbnail.
- Still image: Capture an image from the middle of the video and use it as the thumbnail.
YouTube Morphe also has many other features
In addition to the features mentioned above, YouTube Morphe also integrates 45 other useful features. Some basic features that the original YouTube app should have include accessing links using an external browser instead of directly within the app, and disabling suggestions at the end of videos. Other features are more advanced, focusing on debugging or allowing users to revert to a previous YouTube version.
How to install YouTube Morphe on Android phones?
Similar to YouTube Revanced, to install and use YouTube Morphe, in addition to downloading the app, you need to install MicroG. YouTube Morphe will prompt you to install MicroG the first time you access the app, or if MicroG is not available on your phone.
After installing YouTube Morphe and MicroG, go to Power Usage and select No Restrictions.
